In 2026, the installed capacity of domestic wind and photovoltaic power keeps expanding, together with surging construction demands of data centers and zero-carbon parks. The domestic power transmission and distribution equipment industry has entered a comprehensive structural upgrading phase, with green low-carbon performance and intelligent controllability as the core development directions for transformers and complete electrical equipment.
Policy documents issued by the National Energy Administration indicate that the focus of power construction is shifting from main UHV power grids to distribution network upgrading and user-side new energy consumption. Market demand for low-carbon equipment including natural ester insulating oil transformers, eco-friendly gas cabinets and solid-state intelligent transformers rises steadily. Compared with traditional oil-immersed distribution equipment, new-generation products have comprehensive advantages in energy consumption, carbon emission, floor space and intelligent operation & maintenance, widely applied in distributed photovoltaic power stations, urban core distribution substations and large computing parks.
Industry surveys show that most domestic electrical manufacturers have built production capacity for green intelligent distribution equipment, and launched integrated source-grid-load-storage power distribution solutions simultaneously. The industry development roadmap is clear: in the short term, ultra-high energy efficiency products will replace outdated stock equipment; in the long run, power electronics and IoT sensor technologies will realize full intelligent transformation of distribution equipment, adapting to the operation requirements of new power systems with high-proportion new energy grid connection.
