In the first half of 2026, China’s export volume of power transmission and transformation products such as transformers, box-type substations and high-low voltage complete equipment maintains steady growth, with orders covering Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and other global regions. Multiple factors drive the rising overseas market demand: many countries carry out renovation of aging power grids with long delivery cycles of local equipment; concentrated construction of global new energy projects creates a large supply gap for supporting distribution equipment; the construction boom of AI computing infrastructure stimulates procurement demand for special dry-type and compact intelligent transformers. Domestic electrical manufacturers own complete industrial chains, stable delivery capacity and comprehensive supporting services, winning wide recognition from overseas buyers, and many enterprises have overseas order backlogs extending to 2027.
The industry’s overseas expansion model keeps optimizing, evolving from single equipment supply to integrated service output covering "equipment + overall power distribution solution + full-cycle operation and maintenance". Meanwhile, domestic enterprises actively align with international IEC energy efficiency standards and participate in the formulation of overseas power industry standards, continuously consolidating the competitive edge of domestic power transmission and transformation equipment in the global market.
