KIMA Electric Completes Rooftop Distributed PV Project to Support Green Manufacturing

Admin 2026-09-30

Anhui Kima  Electric Technology Co., Ltd. has completed the acceptance inspection of its Phase I and Phase II rooftop distributed photovoltaic renovation project. The system was officially put into stable operation on September 24, 2026, marking an important step in the company’s green manufacturing and energy-efficiency initiatives.

The project makes use of existing factory rooftop space, covering both Phase I and Phase II production facilities with a total construction area of 25,390 square meters. Following planning, equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and final inspection, the system now meets operational requirements for stable power generation and on-site energy supply.

After the project became operational, the company’s annual power generation capacity increased from approximately 400,000 kWh to 3.6 million kWh, significantly improving the proportion of clean energy used in daily production and facility operations. The self-generated green power has also helped reduce reliance on conventional grid electricity, supporting lower carbon emissions and more sustainable industrial operations.

From an operational perspective, the project has contributed to more efficient energy cost management. By adopting a self-generation and self-consumption model, the company has reduced its average industrial electricity cost from around 1.0 RMB/kWh to 0.5 RMB/kWh, strengthening cost control and long-term operational efficiency.

This rooftop PV project reflects KIMA’s commitment to responsible manufacturing, energy conservation, and sustainable development. The company will continue to optimize its energy management system and promote safe, efficient, and low-carbon production practices.
